Bramble was born out of a social enterprise. We started by matching bright sixth-form students from state schools with Cambridge undergraduates for mentoring and tuition to help them acheive their full potential. From the outset, we believed that advances in technology will see the quality and availabilty of online tuition overtake offline. However, unable to find an existing solution that we could get excited about our new mission was to build the ideal online tutoring platform, from the ground up.

Having built Bramble and witnessed the great sessions taking place, we realised that anyone teaching online would benefit from using it, and so we began offering it to other tutors and agencies. Fast-forward to today and nearly 20,000 hours of one-to-one tuition have been delivered on Bramble in more than 70 countries.
